If the Browns beat the Ravens it will be because the Ravens have been playing like crap for the last month... so you really don't have to worry much about what the Browns can or cannot do on offense. The game will be decided by the Ravens blowing chunks and the Ravens making mistakes that lose football games (to anybody).

Cleveland has potential to have a pretty fierce defense. They just need to watch the Texans tape and realize that Kubiak offenses struggle against blitzing teams, since the QB has very little pre-snap control.

I heard that Tyler Thigpen might also be the starter instead of Shaw. Doesnt really matter either way.

So is Hoyer out for sure? Or just day-to-day?

Baltimore's secondary is their Achilles heel. Joe Thomas should be able to stymie one of the edge rushers, and if the RT and TE can cover the other side, that should give the QB time to make plays down the field to Josh Gordon.

Also, who better to help tip off the defense on Kubiak's offense than Baby Shan, right?

Missouri City product Knile Davis is a hell of a runner. So even if Charles is limited Knile is still a good back.

We all know Hoyer is a mediocre QB. Shaw is an unknown and the Ravens don't have a book on him. You never know what might happen.

that's the story of season. of course alex wasn't going to play. HOWEVAHHHHH, i mentioned a stat that they've been passing like a billion times in their past three losses while ignoring their strength. maybe this is how they give charles more than 9 rushing attempts. =)

Makes you back and look in disgust that Pittsburgh game on MNF and the colts on thurday. Win one of those it'll have been much easier. Oh well, looking forward to next season, at least we can say we surpassed expectations and yes I am being a downer.

We need the bulging disc in Philip's back to start acting up for this week.

Don't forget the Niners choking away a lead to the Chargers last week.... maybe Andy Reid runs the ball (Charles and Davis wildcat?!) and Chase Daniels does enough to not lose it while the Chiefs D makes life hell for Rivers.

While we're at it, let's hope the Cleveland D give the Ravens trouble given their injury concerns on the OL (LT Monroe has "an ankle" and their RT Wagner is already on injured reserve). Need Kruger, Mingo, and crew to step up and get the job done against Flacco and team.

    Texans are snake bit.

Both QB's are out against the teams we need to lose.

    Alex Smith is out.

I never understood why girls are allowed to play in the NFL.

Texans are not meant to make the Playoffs this year. Football gods won't allow it.

Colts had 1st place schedule (Denver, New England) vs Texans last place schedule (Oakland, Buffalo). Texans went 2-0 vs that while Colts went 0-2.

So in the 14 common games, Colts were 4 games better than the Texans, assuming both teams win their gimme games this weekend. Pretty hard to argue that the Texans are better than the Colts, let alone much better.
