Rockets waive Tarik Black

He was certainly not a scrub- Jesus, why do some of you people have to be complete asses? Whatsamatter, Santa didn't bring you the ****ing present you wanted? Dios mio.

 

Black isn't significantly better than Dorsey (if better at all). This was the right move.

 

Yeah, Black was doing great for an undrafted rookie. A bit sad to see him go. He will get claimed for sure.

 

I will be surprised if Philly doesn't pick up Black. They've got a roster slot. He's non guaranteed beyond $150,000 and over half that has already been paid. So they'd only be on the hook for less than $70,000 for his services. And I'd think they already know there is some market for Black's services.

 

Yea, he also runs well for a catcher.

Wish him the best, but he's not a loss that bothers me even a little.

 

Hope he isnt going to Dallas :S

 

This makes me sad. Black is a great kid, I wish him all the best.

 

Cutting him makes more sense :

- 76ers is high on the waiver list so if they really want him for nothing, they will have their shot instead Morey will ask them to do a favor again.

- Cavs, Mavs are very low on the waiver list, so there should be teams before them to claim Black.

So you probably won't get anything for Black anyway, but you also pretty sure he won't have any chance to help our competitors in any form or ways.

Cleveland OR Philly will pick him up if they are smart. Wish we would of found a way to keep him and let Dorsey go.

big mistake. Black just needed more on core experience, but given a loose ball rebound, last minute block shot, he'd get the job done with more effort than Smith would ever bring to the table.

 

I was betting on a trade for Capella. Sorry to see Black go, but I'm sure DM made the effort to make the best move for the Rockets.

 

Wow, I guess there were no takers for Dorsey, I doubt they wanted to let Black go.
