    Yes men typically get the short end of the stick on Christmas when it comes to gifts. It is for a variety of reasons. As a father/husband you are the provider and get other perks and benefits. Just be happy those you love are happy. You are a man and really don't need much. If you really want something, buy it for yourself like others suggested.

    I agree women usually buy more thoughtful gifts (women are just more thoughtful in general) but that doesn't mean razors and underwear are great Christmas gifts for every man. I personally am happy with anything as long as my family is happy, but apparently some men are not.

    I wish someone bought me underwear. I forgot to pack some for my trip even though I laid them out. Now I gotta brave going to Walmart or Target to get some.

    My parents and in-laws have been more and more generous over the years. New TV from bedroom, lots of cash, liquor, Specs gift cards to buy more liquor and, most importantly, a family that gets along marvelously now after several valleys over the years.
