We have to make a roster spot for him.

The NBA should expand the roster limit to 18 or so and the playable roster to 15. That way you can have a collection of young prospects and to make sure injuries don't decimate a team like it was for the Rockets or OKC.

 

I doubt Smith plays by tomorrow (Memphis).
But he will likely be starting soon.

From what I've read, he was sort of promised a starting position next to Dwight.
Not sure that's for the best. But we got him for cheap and it's hard to pass
up a deal like Morey got. It's a no-brainer.
We can apparently cut him if necessary without any real consequences.

 

Grizzlies by 15 if Smith plays.

Rockets by 4 if he doesn't.

 

Another team another beat down.

 

Rockets will lose this game tomorrow. We are at memphis and they will not take us lightly this time. I expect zach to play more than 10 minutes this time.

We might as well play josh smith.

 

We have a better change with Smith than without him. If we go in short handed on bigs, we will struggle. With just Dmo/Howard and one of Dorsey or Black we can get exposed with the bench and if one of them gets in foul trouble, even more trouble.

 

Can we put SMITH on the floor today?

 

This is going to be an absolute blowout. The Grizzlies were thought of as the best team in the west but honestly, us and some other teams have tore them down to size. Let's also hope Smoove does good and I also expect brewer to shine like an allstar

We got crushed in Memphis with everyone being healthy albeit we were on 2nd night of b2b. When we crushed them here in Houston they were on 2nd night of b2b and they barely played zbo all game.

 

i know...and when we crushed them we lacked 4 starters and we played dmo and not dwight...so keep that winning formula...
