For being willing to work with the Rockets' FO, I think he's still the man for the Rockets. I have to say I like how he seems to be acknowledging how he could have done things differently in games we lose. Or how he keeps saying we need to limit the PT of our key guys to preserve them. I still hate his small-ball line-ups in the endgame esp. when we are so obviously overmatched. Maybe this is the next step of his evolution. For being a good leader and communicator to our players, someone who is able to simplify schemes and game plans, someone who develops our bigs, congratulations and let's keep improving.
Exactly! How the heck is this deserved? Because the team finally playing defense? Because the roster is so talented, you'd have to be a major screw up of a coach to mess it up?
Giving extensions to coaches that don't deserve it is how teams get in trouble...What has he done...two 1st round exits?! What a joke! This is Kubiak all over again..ugh!
Interesting timing on the move, but I trust Morey and know the players love McHale. Therefore, I'm OK with it.
