hey cyberx, what's the status on jason terry? do the rockets camp still look at him as an asset or will he be more valuable on the roster throughout the playoffs? I know if he gets traded to some lottery team they will likely buy him out and then he'll like sign with the Mavs. I'd hate that to happen

If we get Smith and he provides something similar to what Rasheed Wallace brought the Pistons in 2004, we can be amazing! I think that should be the ceiling for Smith. Become the X-Factor for a championship team. This team will be stacked! And also have the assets to make improvements, say Dragic or a quality back up center.
The Rockets sure as hell better not give away Terry unless there's an All-Star caliber player coming in return. We need that veteran leadership from him and Ariza.

Lot of people assume Dorsey has passed Black because of that last game. Maybe it was giving Dorsey one more opportunity to show something before Rockets have to make a decision. Remember Troy Daniels got bumped up into rotation the game before being traded. Maybe another team likes him enough to give rockets a projected late 2nd round pick.

That highlight reel probably isn't going to help convince many; I'm counting 14 made buckets, and probably 6 of them on shots I would hate seeing him take. 3 turnaround fadeaways from 10-12 ft, 1 face-up, no dribble jumpshot off a post-up, and 2 atrocious 20 footers off the dribble while guarded closely. This is coming from a guy who loves Josh Smith, and sees him as the Final Form of Terrence Jones' evolution. Can he give the Rockets the same 12/7 production, only with better defense? I'm hopeful.
IF we get Josh Smith and IF the whole team stays healthy. . . . I'll admit . . . . I think we have a shot this year. Maybe.
If Dwight turns it up in the playoffs and Harden actually plays like regular season Harden in the playoffs I think we have a punchers chance against any team in a 7 game series.
I really want to see us crank up the pace, along with keeping up the defensive pressure, with Brew and Smoove joining the squad. I want us to suffocate offenses and take no prisoner.
