If the Lakers organization does not see what the whole world is seeing with Kobe's problem, then they deserve a coach like Byron Scott. The fact that they played "prevent ball" in the 4th quarter tells you how little Scott trusts his players not named Kobe. Is it a surprise that he let Kobe do whatever he wants on the court and makes the whole team to cater to him?
Not me. He made no sense for us since he needs the ball to be effective and he can't shoot. At least he made a little sense for the Mavs since they have plenty of shooters and needed a distributor who could D up. Of course, that assumes Rondo can still play solid D which is debatable given the early results.
Gonna enjoy this Kobe drama for another year after this one. You think Kobe will take less shots? Ha! Not a chance. He'll shoot 33% to get 25 ppg.
Looks like the new bus is all about that money. Kobe still puts butts in the seats for the casual fan. Good thing though playing Kobe at this point is like tanking. So they can sell their seats and tank at the same time.
Nick Young is going out of his way to tweak Kobe. I like it. Props to him for not giving a care what Kobe thinks and saying what is on his mind.
Byron is a p***y, lost all respect for him and Kobe as well. They are both willingly putting this old ass loser over the team, despicable.. By the way, Lilliard is balling out of his freaking mind, even more so than Harden. As clutch as Harden is this season and over his career, Lilliard's numbers are insane.
Nick Young is an awesome personality. He literally could care less what Kobe thinks. It was nice to watch the Splash Brothers make it rain last night. Wayne Ellington and Ronny Price of course.
Kendrick Perkins' brother went berzerk last night on heckling fans. They were saying he was stomping a man's head into the concrete steps. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/hpogfK4_iAg?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
He's a funky dude. But I respect him for being the only one with the Lakers who is not afraid to speak the truth about Kobe.
WAY late to this thread....but LOL at the Lakers having their best game of the season when they sit Kobe.
In sure someone talked about the Cavs not making the playoffs, injuries & The Kevin Love Curse...but y'all thought I was crazy.
