Teams often go crazy when their superstar is out. OKC won a few games after KD and Westbrook were out, then dropped to bottom of West. I do the think the Lakers are better wi th out kobe, but barely. This is a FLUKE.
Good vibes all around. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>VLADE JUST NAILED THE HALF COURT SHOT FOR CHARITY.</p>— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) <a href="https://twitter.com/LakersReporter/status/547621530939584512">December 24, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Yup, Vlade Divac just won 90,000 dollars for the charity of his choice by draining a half court shot during the time out.</p>— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) <a href="https://twitter.com/LakersReporter/status/547621728734560256">December 24, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Spoiler <iframe src='http://streamable.com/e/6d9' width='853' height='476' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen scrolling='no'></iframe>

If I'm GSW, I'm taking all calls on David Lee. They were doing more than OK without him -- he comes back, and Harrison, Draymond and Speights fall off a cliff offensively, leaving everything on Steph & Klay. Factor in that Lee is a negative defender, cutting into the minutes of some of their best defensive players, and I'm not seeing why you don't flip him for somebody who can serve as Bogut insurance or assets you can use down the line for that.

David Lee has never been important for the Warriors success. He's even more irrelevant this season because of Speights. They would have dumped him but nobody wants Lee's crazy contract. Bogut is essential for them to make a Finals run.
