BTW westbrooks boneheaded plays at the end of regulation were the reasons why OKC lost the game, but he was the reason they were leading it also. This is the reason why Russell is not a player to build around. Simply too dumb.

Yes when you get to the later rounds you have to beat everybody, but as a first round opponent I'd rather avoid them.

He can be on my team any day. Absolute beast.

The experience and confidence he's gaining now will pay off once Durant returns fully healthy. Two players at the peak of their powers will be too much too handle for any team out West.

Not yet. Dealing with plantar fasciitis that's kept him sidelined thus far.

I didn't see really any bad plays personally. Those are superstar shots and he's a superstar. Liliard takes those shots and if he missed them they would be bonehead shots. Same for Harden, Curry and any star guard in the league.

It would be a bonehead play if Durant was on the team or some low post scorer...but as it were he was their offense tonight.

How long has Villanueva been in the Mavs rotation? That's a bad sign for them.

LOL, Lakers are pounding the Warriors, without Kobe.

Guys forget they need the lottery picks. Time for Kobe coming back to play.

Hopefully Kobe sees this and adjusts how he plays. He still has a lot of game left, but not as the player he once was. It really depends on how he wants to end his career.

If he thinks he's still who he once was, it's time for him to retire.

He has millions and millions of reasons not to do that. He doesn't care if he's killing the team....why would he?

They were up by 10 with 100 seconds left. Westbrook committed a very dumb foul by attempting to steal the ball from behind 40 feet from the hoop to give Lillard two free throws. On top of that he got a technical for complaining. That started the comeback for Portland. He also didn't run enough time off the clock on the next couple of possessions and missed a critical FT at the end. Poor game management right there. A smarter star would not have allowed his team to lose there.

I'm not saying that Russell is not an elite player and a dominant physical specimen, but he just has these moments that make you shake your head.

He's been living off the past for a while now. His legacy was the titles that Shaq and Pau won him. At this point, he's just collecting a check now that he's finally managed to pass MJ on the scoring list and he's locked down the record for most bricks.

Yeah, It's a contract year for Charlie V. I looked it up so you don't have to.

Rose put a spanking on Lowry and Jwall back to back.

Horford is the most underrated player in the nba. Duncan-lite

My "knee-jerk" reaction was to chop down anyone who said getting Rondo didn't improve the Mavs. I'm not quite 100% certain now.

They will probably figure it out and more moves are coming. But getting killed by the Hawks (until they choked at the end) and the uneven performance tonight is troubling.
