Didn't watch the game but from the box score both had solid games. Arguable who outplayed who but Lin had more rebounds. Price had more 3s. But in the end only 2 more pts than Lin while playing more minutes.

The ultimate example of why Byron Scott is a p***y. The bench played well, made a run, led the game but with 2 minutes left Scott put Kobe back so he can chuck them out of the game. When kobe was preparing to get back to the game you can even see a 'are you sure' look from Kobe's face. Then Scott, not wanting to hurt the feelings of the great mamba, told him to go.

A great coach (lile Pop) will never do this, especially if your star hasnt been shooting well. Hell even mchale rode with our vipers sqaud till the end last season when they came back from a big deficit

if you look at the time when i posted (3rd quarter), Price was playing better than Lin.

Lin played well though in the 4th.

come on dude, where's your clutchfans common sense? read the date stamp first.

besides, i would still have kobe shoot the game winner. i don't trust lin's busted jumper, even he's on a hot streak for a game winner.

Price played better in the first half while Lin was better in the 2nd half.

Honestly, the best scenario was for both of them to finish the game while leaving ice cold Kobe on the bench.

Price's record high is 18pts in a game. My personal guess at the time was he had less than a 50/50 chance of getting to that after scoring 14pts in the first quarter. He had a hot streak (partly because people just don't bother to guard him), but it didn't last. The rest of the game he was pretty much what you expect Ronnie Price to be.

Kobe demands attention even when he is ice cold. It is far better to have him out there than Price...but someone else should have taken the last shot.

^^ how do you spend 10 years in the league and have a career high of 18 points? Jesus christ... I think even the White Mamba has a better career high

    Lol Kobe 8 of 30. 9 turnovers

    Lakers lost 101-108 to Kings

Again, chucked the Lakers to an L. Hilarious. I feel bad for all the Lakers players who have to play with this chucker every night.

    Lakers are legitimate bottom feeders.
Sad to see Kobe like this. What a fall.

Lakers lost because they couldn't stop DeMarcus Cousins and the guy taking the most shots by far once again had a low efficiency day.

Look, I get it: It's easy to just have Kobe shoot. He wants it, and you don't have to do any work to set him up for it other hand handing him the ball. But you can't win regularly just hoping Kobe has an unusually hot day.

Cousins is a beast. The Lakers just have no answer for him, least of all Jordan Hill.

I hope Kobe keeps shooting. In fact, I hope he shoots more

If he can score he would be playing for Yao Ming right now.

Ronnie Price and Jeremy Lin rivalry in futility is intense.

One of the best hidden game-within-game gems of the NBA.

He wants to stay above 25 ppg.

    That's the magic number.

Why? Fk Kobe. Dude has had his fair share of success, he's complicit in chasing away Dwight/Gasol who received so much underserved criticisms because Kobe is untouchable in LA.

Gasol ALWAYS got blamed for their earlier failures and Dwight copped crap despite playing on a recently surgically repaired back, just months removed from using a walker

Jeremy Lin's Los Angeles Lakers Tenure Looking Like One-and-Done Season

The facts don't lie. Lin has been thoroughly inconsistent this season.

Even his coach couldn't help but wonder.

Yet, in Lin's world; he's still a point guard.

When in fact the reality is sinking in... Lin is DONE!

A Lin crazy that thinks the NBA should revolve around Jeremy Lin, a mediocre bench player.

Seriously, what a stupid question to ask a coach.

This is Lin's contract year and it doesn't seem to do good to his possibilities to get a decent one for the coming year. His chances to find a starting PG job anywhere look very bleak indeed. A low salary rotation PG is still possible.
