No, no, no..Do not trade Dmo. You upgrade at pg, but you downgrade at pf/c. No way! I'd want Smith and Dmo. If Rockets want Dragic that bad, throw in an extra 1st round pick. Rockets don't need a pg that bad. Harden is pretty much the pg of this team. I'm not opposed to trading for Dragic, just not Dmo.
You realize Dallas can say the same things right? "Dallas has several advantages over several teams for Smith's services. Rondo is a childhood friend of his. Dallas believes they can help Smith get back to the player he used to be. If Dallas lands Smith, they'll be a real threat in the West." I think the Rox are the favorites to sign him but I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up with the Mavs. Either way the friggin' West is such a damn bloodbath. Jeez.
I wouldn't like it if we got rid of DMO... There are so many good point guards there are not many skilled big men
Having Dragic would take pressure off of Harden. He wouldn't have to play so many minutes and/or such a large majority of the offense with Dragic on the team. Having one of those two on the court at all times would be great.
And what happens when Harden is struggling? Oh yeah we lose because we don't have another playmaker. Dragic is that. Every person in the league would trade a very unproven DMo for Dragic. And twice on Sunday. Dragic/Smith is way better than just Dmo or even Dmo/Smith. Its not even close
Rondo wasn't his best man in his wedding. And they can't offer him more money like we can. So no, Dallas can't say the same things.
lol Brewer was brought here for his defense and to give Harden/Ariza some rest. He can score sporadically but not a playmaker
Houston can offer more money(although from what I can tell it's not a huge difference, but a difference nonetheless)and the avenue for more playing time.
So Lakers will offer the most money to Smith when he clears the waivers, because they want to lure Rondo from Dallas at end of the season. Anyone thought of that?
