Welp, not saying that's how it works. But it's a much better situation than settling with what we have now.

Moves to make moves, finding the right player/contracts, and preventing the competition from getting better (ie Dallas) is what Morey should be concentrating on, am I not right?

so a stretch of games from dmo where he finally produces and somehow he becomes untouchable. people around here get attached to players way too much. dragic can be a huge difference maker for this team as far as getting to the next level. not trading for an all nba pg because you don't want to give up dmo wow lol

I'm saying we aren't claiming him off waivers. Once he clears waivers they will offer him the bae.

Future star?? The guy has been solid for us, no doubt. But Dragic is leap-years ahead of D-Mo in terms of what he's shown in the NBA. At this point, D-Mo still has a LOT of work to do before you can start calling him a budding star. He's a solid role player with potential to be a good starter, but I don't see star when I see D-Mo.

Funny watching Dallas and other western conference going after him to keep him out of Houston

The team that gets the best player in a trade wins.

It was a lottery protected 2012 1st, by the way. There's no reason to think we'd have drafted your boy Sergei.

And yes White was a risk, one that didn't pan out. And that's my point: Morey is capable of making mistakes. No need to get so worked up.

Same argument can be made that people have no attachment or faith in our players....When was the last time we drafted a player and stuck with him? When was the last time we had a big man that could post up and pass and shoot and was not afraid to actually take over in a clutch game? DMO is so young and has shown great signs of something special..... I'm not saying every player who wears a Rockets jersey can be a star... I'm saying DMO has the talent to be a star.....

If he clears waivers it's really a no brainer. You have to take that gamble. Dwight, Smith and Ariza could be a scary good defensive front court in stretches (I would prefer Smith come off the bench).

Plus I dont think Smith wants to come off the bench. With Max Parsons and Dirk...hed be coming off the bench. Bleacher? Smh...

Also... YES!!!! to Smith...... As long as Smith understands that he is not the star of the team and that he is a key piece to the title because of his defense and athleticism then YES!!! He makes the Rockets better..... Please bring him Morey...
