    protests should grow 10 fold.

and what do you mean "allowed to continue"?

it's every american's right to protest. what are you, communist?

stop using a tragedy to grow your narrative.

    very disturbing..

oops! I wouldn't be surprised if whoever posted texxx's video hacked it as well.

Baltimore Fox Affiliate Edits Protest Footage To Sound Like 'Kill A Cop'

A Fox affiliate in Baltimore aired a segment on Sunday showing footage from a "Justice For All" demonstration in Washington, D.C. in which it edited a chant to sound like protestors were shouting "kill a cop."

"At this rally in Washington, D.C. protestors chanted, 'we won't stop, we can't stop, so kill a cop,'" the WBFF broadcast said.

But the full footage, flagged by Gawker on Monday via C-SPAN, revealed that the chant was "we won't stop, we can't stop, 'til killer cops are in cell blocks."

Why do you think they are the least civilized and least educated?

At least there aren't IQ caps on protestors like there are for cops.

On the surface it's real easy to point to the protest as a reason for the actions of the gunman. Especially if your opinion is agenda driving... But this dude was arrested 19 times and tried to kill himself last year. It's been reported that he even shot his ex-girlfriend before he shot the police officers. Maybe this falls more on the justice system for letting a dangerous person walk around free _ constantly unleashing a mentally disturbed criminal back on society. The justice system shares fault all around the board and people are paying with their lives.

What you have pointed out are facts that are simply ignored in the pursuit of agenda driven conservative politics the likes of which we've witnessed for a long time. Same game new day.

There have been many gun control acts passed in the U.K.

By the way, you are wrong about gun crime increasing in the U.K. It's because
you are counting air rifles and imitation guns!

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_politics_in_the_United_Kingdom

So total crimes are far less than 1998, at 8k vs 13.8k - that's a decline. Plus, of those 8k, about half of them aren't even real guns!

So the gun law in the UK worked incredibly well! See how the gun lobby and NRA types twist the narrative to support their cause? Come on man, let's stick to not spinning the facts ok?

And there are two gun control acts in the USA. Job done if you are counting any gun control legislation as sufficient.

But we were talking about outlawing guns, and you had no idea when they took all the guns up. But you still made claims about how that affected things. Great.

Yeah, we were talking about murders.

    96 - 679
    97 - 739
    (gun ban)
    98 - 748
    99 - 750
    00 - 766
    01 - 850
    02 - 891

To think that all the guns get taken up by the police in 97, and there is a 20 year delayed onset is hilarious. Whatever dropped the murder rate in the late 2000's had no relation to guns.

To think that guns have anything to do with home burglaries and whatnot? Silly.

Your post is so full of backpedaling and dodging that I'm embarrassed for you. Keep on cherry picking the stats. You'll be a politician in no time.

Pretty disgusting that people are condemning protests as instigators of violence. Basically, if people shut up and stopped whining about dead Eric Garner, none of this would've happened? That's like saying if people didn't complain about slavery, no one would've had to die in the civil war.

I'm not making this attack righteous, but the police force brought this on itself. Protests didn't spark two cops being killed, cops killing innocent people sparked two cops being killed.

Police should just walk off the job for a week. De Blasio would prob leave the city if that happened.

Those murders are all murders included non-gun related deaths. Which by the way, there was less than 100 for every year in the past decade. You're totally misrepresenting the data to support whatever narrative you are pushing.

Fact is today there is a less firearm violence and murders than pre-1997 law. That is a fact. You may say you cant link it to the law, but then how do you explain that firearm crime and murder is in the decline?
