I honestly think Mchale is a perfect coach for him. And can we flip him before the trade deadline if we need to?
76ers are probably going to pick him up. They are scared due to winning 3 games, and Josh smith @ SF will make sure they don't win any more.
My only worry is what happens to our current 4s, who have both been very good. But I think that compared to any NBA GM I'm too much of a worrywart about the problem of having more talent than you can give minutes to. I'm sure it would be easy to ship Terrence to a team he can get minutes from and get something back, if it comes to that. I'm not totally sure I want Josh Smith as the new starter - but I think he still has the skillset to be a great 6th man, if properly trained to do Moreyball and kept far away from playing on the perimeter.
****, I'd be pumped if they got Josh Smith. It may not work out, but you've got to take the chance, the Rockets aren't winning a title as currently constructed.
No, he sucks, like legit sucks, will kill all our chemistry no no no, he neeeds to be on the first flight to China
Off waivers? Probably not. In free agency? Also probably not. The 6ers aren't dumb enough to add a high dollar figure to that cool $27 mil he's going to continue to get. While the 6ers are in a lose now situation, and they continue to blow things up, they aren't the Knicks.
Easy. Jones is hurt first off so until then. Dmo/smith. Either one could start abd the other come off the bench. Also smith can sub in at sf if needed and quiete honestly given our lack of size he can even come in at C.
We are taking the KB24 approach to free throws. If you can't hit them at high efficiency, increase their volume!
^ Clearly joking about the 76ers Detroit's biggest problem with Smith was using him at the 3 due to Monroe/Drummond. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/rcAJGjOrLG4?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I think what is more interesting is what Morey is going to do to create an extra roster spot to sign Josh Smith.
