Ok.... YOU are the SUNS... Do you take Dmo or Jones?

No one wants Jones. He has no value now. His career could be in jeapordy. NO ONE WANTS HIM.

I suggest everyone takes him out of every scenario with him in there for now.

    Meh.

    Not so sure.

Assuming that Dragic is available and Smith signs, the Rockets may want to get them on the team ASAP so they are hitting on all cylinders come playoff time.

Dragic would be an excellent fit for the Rockets. I am not so sure about Smith. He can block shots and gets steals but offensively he is just a festering puss filled sore.

The only way DM does this is if we also get Plumlee or Len in return. You would potentially have Tarik Black and a banged up Tjones off the bench. Still think we should keep Dmo.

SMH, do we really think Morey would trust this guy at starting PF?

Edit: Cyber himself beat me to it.

Keep seeing this. Just trade Jones! Just trade Jones!

Folks want Smith as insurance for Jones because no one knows when he's coming back but...

...they want to trade Jones to Phoenix(or wherever) as if he's some sort of asset right now.

He has no trade value right now! Low! Nerve issue and (again) no one knows when he's coming back! He hasn't played and you'd think they'd want to see him get on the court again.

If I am the Rockets I try to hold onto DMO and the NOP pick.

See if Terence Jones + Capella/or Canaan + NYK 2nd rounder + filler can get it done.

    You forgot T Jones.

And personally I would keep Bev as the starter and have Dragic come off the bench. I would bring Josh Smith off bench too once T Jones gets healthy.

    The bench would wreck teams.
    Dragic
    Terry
    Brewer
    Smith
    Black

    ^That's a serious team.

If we include DMO to PHX hopefully its the NYK 2nd rounder going with him...if it's the NOP pick I would feel like thats too much.

Already knew this about Jones. No one wanted to give up any value for him last year when he was supposedly blowing up next to H&H. Now with the injury we can't even land a second for him. But....that doesn't mean we are ready to push DMo out there on a silver platter for Goran.

Even as a salary match throw-in?

Probably true. Until he comes back, you probably can't trade him.

No thanks. C'mon, Morey. This guy is pure trash on the court.

    Yup.

People need to realize that the Rockets have to give up value to get value. Dragic is a very good player, and by trading for him, they get to use his the rest of this year and get his Bird Rights. If the Rockets do not trade for Dragic, they will not get him as a free agent.
