The Lakers are facing GS, CHI, DAL and PHX in the upcoming games. Perfect time for Kobe to sit out a game or two. Little chance of the rest of the squad winning one of these games and making Kobe look bad.

That team was going to beat the Thunder. Bryant had no business being on the floor. It was idiotic to put him back in. He needs to know when to hold 'um, know when to fold 'um, know when to walk away.
I love how Byron Scott is still like "he and I will have a discussion about his minutes". We all know that means "Kobe is going to tell me what games he is sitting out." The guy is killing the team, shooting 37% and Nick Young is the only person on the planet who will stand up to him. WTH?
You woule think Kobe, who always seems so concerned with his legacy, would be more conscientious of how what he's doing not only hurts his team, but also his image.
Kobe-lovers (a.k.a. 90% of Lakers fans) are so enthralled by him that they refuse to hold him accountable for his garbage play.

My guess would be Nick Young and Boozer as a combo. Young is a good shooter, but not a good creator. Putting Lin and Ellington in as a pair would also work, but I doubt Byron would see it that way. What I'm curious about is if Lin will finally get to play with Ed Davis. It is really starting to look like Byron is keeping them apart on purpose. If he wants offense for both the starters and the bench, that is an obvious pairing to look for. But it has been obvious all year, and he hasn't gone there.
If Swaggy wasn't that funky, I'd predict that he would lead a mutiny to freeze out Kobe and get Scott fired.
If Swaggy wasn't a lot of things he could probably be a great basketball player.. too bad God mad him a moron.
The Lakers' 9 wins (so far): CHA SAC ATL SA HOU MIN TOR GSW DET I mean, I know they're 9-19, but they have some pretty impressive wins.
It honestly wouldn't surprise me one bit if Kobe was voted into the starting lineup while someone like Harden has to be voted in, by the coaches. World still has too many Kobe lovers.
