For this week, so we don't get eliminated... We need a Buffalo Loss against the Raiders (would make things easier), Chiefs Loss vs Steelers (this must happen or we are done), and of course a Win against Ravens. I believe if these things happen. In Wk 17, we would need the Chargers to lose to Chiefs (tough game either way), Ravens loss to Browns (could be the one that does us in), and a Victory over the Jags... If Buffalo doesn't lose in wk 16, then we would need them to lose to the Pats in wk17.
From Yahoo: Lead the Dolphins and Browns for the No. 10 spot because of conference record (6-4 to the Dolphins' 6-5 and Browns' 4-7). Would clinch a playoff berth with two wins and a Ravens Week 17 loss to the Browns (play at home) and a Bills loss (remaining opp: Oak/Pats) and either two Steelers losses or a Chargers loss plus a Chiefs loss.
Depending on the severity of Manziel's injury, Hoyer may start vs the Ravens. If he plays like Fitzy did after he was benched, the Browns may have a chance.
we could have been on track for 10 wins so easily but we have lost every single close game we have played. Dealing with multiple injuries too.
the chiefs will have something to play for so they won't lay down for the chargers. and johnny football will not be in, so cleveland has a shot. the best you can ask for.
Buffalo also has to lose. They are beating Oakland right now, and then play a New England team that will probably be resting their starters
Let's win next week, somehow make the playoffs, win the AFC, and go to Super Bowl. Stranger things have happened.
New England has home field throughout the playoffs on the line, so they won't be resting their starters unless Denver loses today. They also play before Denver next week, so barring a Denver loss tonight, they'll have a lot to play for. Go Texans, go Browns, go Chiefs, and go Patriots!!
We are 0-4 in games decided by a td or less. Just have a 25% success rate in those games and we'd be in the Playoffs.
The 49ers choking that game against the Chargers hurts us. Could have just come down to the Browns/Ravens game. We really shot ourselves in the foot though, we had many opportunities to win just one more game.
