http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2014/12...ion-between-police-teenage-boy-posted-online/ So it continues. Police officers are continuing to behave in ways that are brutal and justifiably show that they are more than happy to use excessive and unnecessary force despite recent events. We have a big problem here and it's time for people to take off their blinders and realize it's not just black people resisting arrest as the issue.
In before someone post 'at least they didn't kill him'... I wonder if they had to chase the suspect... Cops are known to get some blows in and rough up a suspect when they have to run to catch them. Running will pis many cops off. Especially the ones who like to take full advantage of their donut eating privileges.
It does look like the criminal was resisting after just participating in a beating that left a victim with a broken jaw. Either that or those three cops that were struggling to get his handcuffs on have the motor skills of an infant. It definitely looks unnecessary and the cop should be punished. I also don't think this minor incident called for a new thread, but I guess that's what we're doing now.
Go read that giant Cop forum. It's crazy what some people on there think. Besides calling other cops idiots for thinking that having one or two beers is the same as smoking so it should remain illegal, they also say things like "I always try to get a few punches in for the good guys when the suspect is subdued". We all know the history of Harris County jail. Cops taking people to back rooms to beat them up.
I don't understand the point you're trying to make. Did you want everyone to riot and start burning down the town? Every since we stepped out of anarchy, law abuse has always been there and will always be there. I understand the Ferguson uproar...the media profited very well from this. But an officer punches a kid? What next, catching officers running red lights and speeding? The point is police brutality and corruption runs much deeper than a controversial racial shooting, or a taser or a thrown punch. And its much better than it was 50 years ago. Please stop acting all shocked that this is a new trend.
