Considering he hit some big shots when we needed it and played very good d, it's a very good mean. no one is expecring him to win a scoring title, smartass. More of a winner than parsons.
He's doing okay . I think he did beyond the expectations . He doesn't mess the offense , shoots well the 3 for now , and he's a defensive upgrade over parsons . But I really wish we could keep parsons for one more year ...
He is pretty much the same guy, can shoot the three and play defense. Can't dribble, poor handles, can't create, and his passing is late. But he fits with this team and they are arguably better with him than Parsons....but Parsons is a much more skilled basketball player than Trevor - it is not even close. DD
He has improved his handles a tad, not significantly, he improved his passing. If you cannot see it well then you better learn to. He is a better allround player, he is still a streaky shooter. He can rebound and steal with the best of them at his position.
I've given up on him being a consistent contributor offensively. I mean...36% from the field? And that's before you take away his otherworldly start to the season. The defense remains great, obviously, but his shot is beyond broken.
Its not that hes just missing shots...He's missing WIDE OPEN shots regularly Some said with Howard back it will get better and it hasnt at all
i'll give him the benefit of the doubt but he is abusing that benefit. since this team cant get into any rhythm with all its injuries but we're almost healthy now even w/o jones. once this team can play together and get get some momentum going he needs to get his shooting %'s up. 33% from three is borderline average and wont cut it for the playoffs. 37% from the field is just terrible. he gets plenty of good looks. thankfully he does a lot more than shoot so he's nowhere near useless. he doesnt need to shoot lights out. 42% from the field and 37^ from three is good enough.
He's averaging more minutes this season so far than he has at any point in his career. I'm curious to see whether Brewer providing some relief for Harden/Ariza has any positive effect before declaring their shots permanently broken.
Same ol' Trevor, same as he ever was with Houston. And it'll end the same way it did the first time: his ass getting shipped out. i seriously get that buck johnson feeling every time he launches a 3. have no idea if it will be an airball or go on, but i'm always ready for either scenario. when he drives it's different, i'm pretty confident he's not gonna score.
