Good teams try to find the Chandler Parsons's, not pay them My very optimistic opinion is that we may not end up needing Dragic on this team; I think we found the raw version of his skills in Alexi Shved. Just need to find out if Shved can get his mojo back by February, and we try Dragic if he doesn't
Da Wolverine (Eurocup MVP, Russian and Greek Cup Champion, & former VTB United League Russian player) should also be a Great Influence and Role Model for him. And don't forget Superman's -Twin Joey Dorsey (Greek League Defensive Player of the Year, Euroleague & Greek League Champion) !!!
I really like the way Shved runs the PnR. Kind of remind me of Jeremy Lamb with + ball handling ability.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>McHale says Shved is a good playmaker who sees the floor very well - a large guard who can play the 1, 2 or 3.</p>— Houston Rockets (@HoustonRockets) <a href="https://twitter.com/HoustonRockets/status/546444781144928256">December 20, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Couldn't have said it better...he looks extremely smooth for someone that also looks pretty explosive. I'm stoked after watching some highlights. And given some of the other players the rockets have developed in recent years (3pt accuracy)... I see no reason to believe he can't get at least into the 33-35 percent range.
Dependa on what we're giving up... If Dmo carries and and maybe becomes a bi mOre efficient as Dwight settles back in, I would be find with standing pat with our roster more less as is.... Of course we would need Jones to come back at some point... Without him, I would definitely agree that depth at the 4 is crucial to a playoff run.
Looking at his highlights and remembering how much he stood out when he played the rockets, I can't figure out why he was let go of so easily from Minny and Philly. The guy looks like he can really play. His FG% should be better with the good form he has.
If Rockets can pick up Wright and Kirilenko/Jeff Green, Rockets do not have break bank for Dragic. Liking this lineup right now if TJ and Dwight can return 100%.
Shved reminds me of S.Livingston and Iggy to an extent. Tall guard facilitator, plays multiple positions. Brewer as well. We certainly didn't have it before and will make us much better. I expect both if them to get plenty of burn for us and contribute more with time. Glad to have them both, as we gave up only 3 2nd round picks and Trey.

I'm very excited with this pickup. I'm hoping he'll be as solid for us as Patty Mills was for the Spurs. Sounds like McHale's going to play him too, as soon as he gets comfortable with the system. Great pickup for a skill that we needed Seems content to be here as well. I have high hopes for this guy as the next real good Rocket PG like Lowry & Dragic. I hope he kills the need for Dragic and we can trade for big man depth at the deadline instead
My fav part about this trade is that if an all star becomes available, a package of Terry + Shved + Papa + Jones can match any contracts.
Didn't he shoot 40%+ with CSKA moscow? Let me check that and get back to you! And indeed he did. 45% in 10/11 (1.3 attempts per game) 49% in 11/12 (3.2 attempts per game) So there is potential there - hopefully he exceeds 30% for us this season, and builds from there.
I'm worried how our announcers will pronounce his name because tonight has to be the worst ever: saying Antik instead of Antish (as in hushhhh) and Schrooder instead of Schreuder (you do not have the sound, but look it up
