Sales wise it hasn't done great, but I wanted to make sure that people know it's not because the game isn't good. It is, it's also a change of pace, and funny as well. Unfortunately their release timing was quite stupid in my opinion, thus...abysmal sales. It's really sad because very talented developers will be losing their jobs over this, I guess it just hits home for me because I know what it means. I apologize for the tone there, or taking you out of context.
I just did something I haven't done in years, and that is sit down and play through a game in just a couple of days. SO is by far my favorite game of the year. I had looked forward to it but the reviews weren't quite as I expected os my expectations were lessened. I'm really happy I still gave it a chance because it is most likely the most fun you will have this year with a single player campaign.
81 on metacritic, I was expecting a 88+ average review. The game definitely plays as such. That teaches me to trust critics when it comes to games, i'm sticking with word of mouth now.

Hell ya im pumped. Should arrive at my house by the time I get off work. Put many hours into DS2 on PC and never played any of the dlc so cant wait to play it on Xbox One
