lol We should be able to rest Harden more with Brewer here. Shved is a decent PG prospect. A stint in the valley should tell us.
I really like Shreved last season but he looked really thin this season. He can play though. Won't wow anyone but is crafty enough to be a plus on the court.
a proven role player for a 3rd string bench player is always a good deal. over 2 steals a game this season. and he's shown he has ball handling skills, with the wolves pgs being injured he's avg 5apg the past 7 games or so
I bet they are as they should. He is better than Dragics brother easily. He should be decent in our offense. Very nice stats.
2015 free agent point guards off the top of my head: 1-patrick beverley 2-goran dragic 3-rajon rondo There are not many teams who need a pg. The lakers and maybe the mavs if they lose rondo. Worst case-we lose beverley to the lakers. Best case we get dragic.
Does this mean we're adding a third 2nd rounder to the kitty or is it one of the two original 2nd's going to Minny?
COREY BREWER!! for...51 points??? <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/uZjKUN5QI0s" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I like this move a lot. First, Brewer is a high energy player who can swing between the 2/3 with ease. Hell, MINNY had him playing PG last time we played him, so here's extremely versatile. As stats may not support him as a defender, but watching him play he's pretty pesky. He also plays the passing lanes well and that's perfect for our new D. As an offensive player he's more of a scorer than a shooter, but he can get on a hot streak (see 51 against us last year). As many have said, he's perfect player to take 12-13 mins at SG and 12-15 mins at SF. That will be huge for us and ensure we don't burn Harden and Ariza out. I like this trade a lot, Troy just wasn't taking the next step and maybe with consistent minutes he'll do it with MIN. Great job DM!
