That's sort of a head scratcher IMO he's not good defensively and he's not really a good 3 point shooter
I was actually listening to 790 at that time. It was some kid named "Eric" and he was citing some source that he thought was "very credible" but who knows. He sounded very much like just a dude.
In Europe was a very good player. His season before NBA, he shot 49.4%(42/85) from 3. He became a chucker after he came in the NBA.
the rockets need to make a cut to get down to 15 players. such a deal also consolidates both contracts into one for possible use at the trade deadline.
"not really a good 3 point shooter" is kind. It sounds like you are talking about someone in the low 30s. He's at .298
In Minny he was even worse than he is in Philly. He might have a nice looking shot, but he misses way too much to be considered good at shooting.
He had better luck from the 3 in Russia so I wanted to be kind. Also there's rumors that he wants to return to Russia or head to Europe instead of staying in the NBA which makes his name popping up even more odd.
Yeah he's apparently very unhappy in the US because he's not being given the minutes he wants. Of course, he's shooting at Rajon Rondo levels and he doesn't have a reputation to keep him bolstered so it's no surprise he doesn't get minutes.
It's hard to think of guys to run with when you want to describe players who are around 40% from the floor and under 30% from three. At least this kid can hit his free throws. But geez...he takes a TON of 3s for a guy that can't hit them at even a passable rate. Also just read that's pretty ball dominant when he gets the ball in his hands so there's that... Don't have any interest in him. I'd rather see Turiaf play on one leg. At least that would be interesting.
At least that's interesting. If he didn't take those 2 half court shots he'd be just over 30% from three and if he would put a mental x on the left arc he'd be impressive. Dem teeth!
cisco or another player has to be waived for the roster spot before the deal for brewer and turiaf goes through.
