I'm not sure what this has to do with my posts that you quoted but ok.

There's been plenty of rumors about the Rockets chasing a Rondo trade. After the deadline last year Ainge flat out said that he hadn't even discussed a Rondo trade with Houston.

Now today's chronicle says that the Rockets weren't willing to include the NOP pick for Rondo.

Look at what Boston got for Rondo, an expiring Brandon Wright, Crowder, Nelson and a low 1st and a low 2nd.

So based on that, do you really believe that we were desperately trying to trade for Rondo but failed? What exactly do you believe that the Rockets were offering for Rondo that it wasn't better than what Boston got?

Rondo wasn't a good fit for us and he's expiring and seeking max money. Additionally we would have to have included some core players in the deal just to make the salaries match. Morey wasn't going to do that for a guy that wasn't a good fit and who had no trade value. Why would he?

Jordan Hill never played any "defined role" on a good team so far in his career.

No many GM will call Morey and ask for Dmo, because not everyone will be as dumb as SVG whose calling the Hawks and wanted to trade Monroe for Krover and Teague.

Many GM are calling Kupcheck because the Lakers was to trade him away.

Exactly. If Jordan Hill was that much in demand then LA would have already traded him. He's not a building block for them and he plays the same position as their best prospect (assuming he gets healthy). If Hill was that highly thought of then they would have traded him while his value was high.

No one should doubt that you have solid information both when it pans out and when it doesn't.

My first thought too. He's not good enough and he doesn't play the right position to stick around. He's the most expendable player on the roster
