Tough loss. Hopefully the Rockets can go at least 3-2 in the next five games.

Yeah, but tonight DHo was more effective down there than DMo...

    It happens....

Not a bid loss this one....once they had their mini run to start the 4th, I knew we were in trouble...

Good things are happening as we get Terry back, and Kostas tonight, and Dho and Canaan....

All we need now is for TJo to get healthy so Black can go back to being the 4th big.

Mchale should have pulled a Greg Popovich tonight and give guys rest, especially Dwight. Smh can't win every game

    Way to stay classy

Totally agree... that would be very Pop-esque. Seems like it would have been a good time to rest H&H (esp. in hindsight, lol).

Can we please avoid making blanket statements like this, ye of little faith?

Houston won road games last year. It was the home games they had a problem with lol.

HCA is overrated for teams that expect to contend. Period. If the Rockets expect to contend then winning a game on the road shouldn't be some terrifying thing.

If the Rockets make it to the WCF it will be because they won a crucial away game.

I'm concerned about the shoulder, that didn't look good when it happened.

Pardon me I was speaking to the other adults in the thread. When you're ready to spoken to directly and use your words more maturely then feel free to engage and contribute. Until then feel free to sit in the corner and throw your temper tantrum by yourself.

Man our guys just keep getting banged up. That shoulder deal with Dwight looked bad to me too. He looked different out there after that.

I feel like we're on borrowed time with harden given how banged up everyone else is and the fact the harden has gone for awhile without injury. Knock on wood

Throughout the history of the NBA, HCA is very important. It's definitely not overrated. Outside of 2 or 3 teams in the entire league who have proven that they can win without HCA, it's a necessity.

Teams with HCA by year in the playoffs:

    2014: 11-4
    2013: 11-4
    2012: 12-3
    2011: 10-5
    2010: 11-4

And so on. Only teams who can have the mentality that HCA doesn't matter are the Spurs and OKC. Everyone else need HCA to increase their chances of advancing.

I didn't see the game. Was D-Mo looking completely overwhelmed going up against Davis/Asik throughout the game?

Not really, but Davis had him scared a bit, he was looking for the weakside help.

DMo played great until he took a finger in the eye, then he sort of had issues.

Like pretty much any of us would.

I've heardthis before. I don't trust any of these guys when it comes to diagnosing themselves and their playing condition.

I noticed that too. Seemed to rush his shots a bit like he did last year and over compensated his shots because of his concern about Davis blocking his shot.

I honestly didn't notice him as a positive or negative on the floor. Everyone really struggled with fatigue. Though KPap shouldn't be impacted since he didn't play the night before. I think he was just rusty. Really though I didn't see the same energy or grit from him I'm used to seeing.
