Rather go after Green than Brewer. Maybe as part of the Wright flip that Boston is looking to do. When Ainge has a fire sale, the guy goes all out.
Yes, but Boston would not be able to include other players (which I don't think they would care about). I'd love to have him as a quality 3rd big, but he might make TJones a little redundant. I'd only do that deal if we knew TJones wouldn't come back at full strength.

In trade talks, remember: Rondo essentially had veto power. No one would trade for him as rental. Unfortunately we are probably going to have to go until the deadline to get an answer on Dragic. They have no reason to trade him now.
Even though reports said that Rondo said that he would sign long-term with either Dallas or Houston, could Rondo say after the end of the season that those reports were false and he would not re-sign with them but he would sign with Houston long-term? LOLOLOL...
The only reason they might want to do it sooner rather than later is because teams could prey on their desperation to trade him if they wait. His value could very well go down depending on how many teams he'd be willing to commit to. Near the deadline, why pay for him if you could have him for nothing in FA?
That's not true. He's a diminishing asset as of right now. The longer they wait, the less time any team that trades for him has him. And since he's a free agent, I'd imagine whoever wants him will want him with enough time to mesh with the team. PHX doesn't gain much of anything by waiting. In fact, depending on what they get for him, it would help their locker room situation by appeasing Bledsoe and Thomas, as well as adding depth to other areas in their rotation.
Thats what I thought was happening entire time. Celtics would of wanted Dmo probably and I doubt we would of ever given him up for Rondo
As time progressed with the Houston-Boston talks, there was a sense within the Celtics that Houston was simply trying to drive the price up on a deal for the Mavericks, sources said. Woj Great move Murray
would be funny to drive up the price and quite possibly end up with the best "fit" of the trade (wright).
