any idea what our final offer was? Can't imagine they turned down the Pellie's Pick for the Dallas pu-pu platter.
shouldnt be too long before they make a move to solidify their bench. dont forget about felton, he's att he end of his career but he can still be borderline serviceable once he gets healthy.
Soooo would it be possible to get Brewer, Wright, AND Dragic?? I know, I'm attaining Danny Ainge levels of greed here.....
Why are you surprised he yielded so little? Expiring... Wants to go to a contender/really good team.. Said team needs assurances that he will resign.. Coming off injuries... He can pretty much name where he wants to go. It's a small market... Which brings us to PHX ....so many similarities.....Celtic genes included.. Just as Ainge/Boston have bungled moving Rondo......McDonough/Sarver have screwed the pooch with regard to Dragon...not that they had a whole lot of leverage to begin with... It was a foregone conclusion 6 months ago that neither of these guys were going to bring a big haul. Now, the only question is how little we will have to give up. And believe me, it's not in PHX's interest to continue to sit on their a$$ forever either.
Agreed, the longer they wait, the less his value since they have no choice but to move him before the deadline. He's worth more right now than in a few months iMO because that's a few more months of him playing. Then again, maybe Gogi isn't that picky about where he would re-sign.
Didn't Plowman tell everyone it wouldn't take much to get Rondo? I think there was a lot of arguing over that, IIRC.
If you do, be sure to ask for Jason and I'll buy you a beer or whatever you'd like to drink. catastrophictheatre.com
I thought I read somewhere that Dragic wanted to play for a title contender. I could be wrong though.
hey now never underestimate the ability to hound double bacon cheeseburgers for an entire nba team in less than 5 minutes. thats a huge morale boost. u better pray we never face the mavs when they're high on double bacon cheeseburgers
