And crowder was a solid sf backup too

Now they have injury prone Tyson at center, dirk at Pf, chronic back parsons, and rondo/Harris at pg

    How's Ellis injury history?

now rondo can prove many of these doubters that think he is pretty much no longer serviceable. he's gonna be a great fit in dallas.

though it would be in the rockets best interest to say none of their guys were on the trade block

They did "steal" Rondo and Parsons.

    Championship? TBD

Most of the board were all in on Rondo, now the Mavs get him all of a sudden he sucks. I can say for certain I didn't think Rondo was a good fit.

However...who else is there? Morey is falling asleep at the wheel.

The Mavs just took a major leap in the West. Rondo, Ellis, Dirk and Parsons...recently Cuban has had Morey over his knee.

I think he's a much better fit for Dallas than he is here in Houston .... The thing is , his warts are magnified on this team where in Dallas his "talents" are complimented.

    1. Our main target is a PG like Dragic
    2. Personally, I never wanted Rondo and still don't
    3. I really don't see how Cuban has Morey over his knee

sprained acl before season started and rondo with his injury history

the gold at the end of the rainbow would be if rondo signed elsewhere

but yeah i don't think the mavs made this huge jump that everyone was talking about..

metrics point that wright is better than rondo..and he was killer against us imo. crowder had a solid shot....they lose that coveted depth

i'm hoping the ellis/rondo thing doesn't work out

Said this before and I'll say it again, he's an amazing facilitator on the court, but I never liked the dude's personality off the court. He comes off as a douchebag and not the good kind that a team would benefit from having in a locker room kind of douchebag.

It's clear to me now that Morey's "involvement" was only to drive the price up. He continues to own Dallas by essentially doing nothing. It's awesome if you think about it. He did his buddy Ainge a solid just by saying "tell Woj that I'm in".

How are they able to make this work with the cap... they are at 71 mil the cap's at 63... wouldn't they need to send out 17 mil in salary?

    Probably this.

Rondo won't work with Harden. Both are ball-pounders, except Rondo can't shoot like Beverly.

Rondo is Beverly on defense with way better passing and vision. Harden can fill 80% of that play making role more than fine.

who wouldn't want an allstar? but if you've been a rockets fan for long enough, you've seen how morey works. and morey only pulls the trigger if he sees fit.

i trust in his decision making. why are you having a hard time doing so also?
the nerve for you to say he's falling asleep at the wheel.

i doubted when we let parsons go but look at our records now. look at this team who (myself included) many doubted..

calm down. morey knows what he's doing.
