    We still need to see how the chemistry on that team goes. Rondo isn't exactly a shrinking violet. So they will relegate Ellis to the 2nd team?

    Who will they put on the bench from their starting unit?

    Mavs got better defensively with Rondo. But the NBA is all about match ups. And this trade hurts Dallas in their match ups against us. Sure he'll help against the likes of Westbrook, Lillard, Curry, and Parker, but all PB does is stand there and shoot 3's so they don't really gain anything defensively at the PG spot against us.

    However, they lose paint protection depth when Chandler is off the floor and Harden, Howard, and D-Mo will have a field day.

    Rondo is PG, Ellis SG.... yeah both ballhogs but I think one of them has to give up the ball more

    LOL. They went to having 1 really good defender to having 1 really good defender and 1 ok defender.

    Rondo is not the lockdown guy he once was.

    Rondo does not fill the Rockets style whatsoever.

    Like Clutch said, this was more than likely "leaked" by Boston.

    Tarik Black, Jet, Knicks second rounder, Minny second rounder, Sacramento's second rounder for Wright and Corey Brewer. We save the TPE and all our other assets for the deadline.

    I think this was Ainge/Morey just helping each other out a bit in driving up the price. Originally it was just Wright and a first. Ended up with a 2nd and Crowder/Nelson.

    I'm pretty butthurt. The West didn't need to get tougher than it already is, and the Celtics basically just handed the Mavs Rondo. Helps the Mavs in a lot of areas.

    More sexy names... It will be interesting to watch how good Dallas thinks they will be. I just think back to the reports that Rondo wants all the assists even if it hurts the team. RC's system doesn't work with just one guy dishing all the assists.
