EXACTLY. Boston takes back Ellis and Dallas just made a lateral move. Win win for us.

Danny Ainge is seriously about to hand Rajon Rondo to the Mavericks for a worthlessly low pick and Brendan Wright?

    I've seen it all...

It's not going to happen unless it is a 3 team deal. Ainge is too good and too smart to get low balled that badly.

As they should, Rondo is a good fit there.

    What does that tell you?

The market for Rondo isn't very strong and obviously Morey does not value Rondo.

Ainge can also flip Wright for a #1 if he want and let his younger guys get Rondo's minutes.

I wouldn't be shocked if Dallas gets Rondo.... he isn't that good anymore.

A fun stat is that Rondo is shooting 34% on wide open shots greater than 10 feet from the basket….wide open meaning without a defender within 6 feet of him. That’s absolutely pathetic. Another fun piece of info is that opponents are shooting for a higher percentage than normal when Rondo guards them literally anywhere on the court. Overall opponents shoot 5% better just by being guarded by Rondo.

In other words, go nuts Dallas!

I know esp if they only give up some late picks and bench pieces for him.

All I see is smoke and mirrors...

If Mavericks land Rondo with late first round draft picks and Wright, I'll lmfao.

Definitely don't think Rondo is crazy good or anything, but he's a great fit in Dallas at the moment. I can't lie. Frustrating if it happens, in my opinion.

I'm not upset if the Rockets don't land Rondo, though. There are much better options for us at similar prices, Dragic specifically.

Who is going to give Ainge a first round pick for Wright? Come on now that's not possible.
