Motiejunas has made Jones a trade chip now.

I can just picture opposing coaches and bigs salivating at Dwight & Jones' absence, then being totally confused and deflated when some Euro white guy starts scoring on them at will with Hakeem-like moves...

If confidence was the only thing that he was lacking before going into this stretch, I hope he doesn't fall out of it as easy as he got it going. Even if bad games will happen, I hope the organisation will be patient enough to give him chance to recover.

Other than that, I'm really happy with his progress. I feel a massive relief, because it looked like his future in this league is starting to come into question. Now whatever happens, at least his agent will have some video highlights for future reference.

To be fair, Jones was always a trade chip.

    An "asset," if you will.

DMo was 7 for 13 in the Denver game, however he missed a couple of gimmes. As well as DMo has been playing over the past few games, he has missed some bunnies which normally he makes. Maybe he's not used to playing such long minutes, and is tired, but he doesn't seem to have his normal shooting touch from in close. DMo makes a great move, and then...misses the floater from 4 feet out. He should have been 10 of 13 last game.

picking some serious nit there, don't you think? no player is going to be perfect every game.

And Dwight misses 3-4foot shots all day. No player is perfect. Players do have bad shooting nights, especially young players, which are extremely inconsistent in terms of overall season. If you take overall DMo stats, you have like 11pts 6rebs 0.5blocks 31% 3pt. Pretty average stats nothing spectacular.
BUT if you take his last 13 games his stats are amazing. 15pts 7rebs 42% 3pt's shooting. He is playing great defense, stretch 4 and post threat. Basically if he keeps up this level of play he becomes one of the most well rounded two-way PF in the league.

Yeah, he's definitely missing bunnies and he's still shooting over 62% on hooks and fadeaways. Just lets you know he has more upside left. He should be able to push his paint percentages to around 70%. And that is killer there.

I said it in another thread and got ridiculed for it by the Debbie downer crowd, DMo's gonna be our 3rd star/2nd building block when Dwight starts declining and Harden hits his prime in 3 years or so.

Did you just give D-Mo an inch while taking away an inch from Terrence? Come on, man!

Not only is DMo the better passer, he is the more willing passer. TJ is uber skilled and talented but is a black hole when he gets the ball.

With Dwight healthy again, they could form the twin towers tandem to take into the playoffs.

Doesn't the NBA measure height with shoes? Because NBA.com lists DMo as 7'0". If that is true, then DMo is only 6'10"-6'11". But if DMo is 7' without shoes, then he should be listed at 7'1"-7'2" (which is as tall as Shaq).

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

DMo never attended a combine in US where players are measured with shoes. In Europe players are measured without shoes, and he was measured at 7'0". That's where NBA is getting their info from.
