Neither Rondo nor Dragic are star material. Neither of them will make an All-Star team this year.

The Rockets struck out on the 3rd star when Bosh opted to stay in Miami. He made a big mistake and realized this, he is sitting out now and no timetable for his return.

The reason the Rockets are so high in turnovers right now has more to do with the lineup changes and different players going in and out of the lineup than the team itself. The chemistry isn't there, yet. But, we still keep finding ways to win games because our primary PG and distributer Harden is willing us to victory, that IS chemistry. Our bench players have gotten better and they have bought in to the system but are not familiar with said system.

Beverly's intensity will not wear him out, he's had many games off this year so far. I expect McHale to rest him towards the end of the season too. But you're stupid, because even if we bring Dragic or Rondo in to this team it will mean we will have to part ways with some of these players (more than one) and we haven't even seen what we can do with them yet when healthy.

I thank God that Morey isn't as dumb as some of you posters are.

Also, it's possible to share your opinion without being a condescending douche 100% of the time. It should be, anyway.

Yep dragic will be ecstatic to lead the 2nd unit. Rondo won't be happy with that.

I assume Dragic would want to start, which I think would be workable as long as Bev checks in early enough to stagger Dragic's minutes with Harden's as much as possible.

Dragic played like an all star last year.. Phx signing IT messed him up this year

We've seen what terry, Canaan, and Johnson can do when healthy.. None has really proven worthy to be in the backcourt rotation with harden and pbev in the play offs

Terry's been playing really well this year. Canaan showed flashes of great play. If we can get Dragic without giving up DMo I'm all for it, but not Rondo.

You make a lot of assumptions that you treat like facts. I would break it down, like I do in court, but it wouldn't be that logical for me to waste my mental powers. Your personal attack tactics belong on ESPN comments section. Alas, most of the smart people in this time zone are already asleep.

I did see him step up his game, but he is very undersized and will get abused by the likes of Westbrook, lilliard, reggie (jackson). We are a win-now team. We don't have time to develop this guy right now. Look how deep GSW is. They are the team to beat. In a ten man playoff rotation, We would have

    Howard/Dorsey
    DMO/Black
    Ariza/Kpap
    Harden/Johnson
    Bev/Canaan(Terry)

The only thing I see we need to shore up in that line up is the starting point position. Prove me wrong otherwise.

Don't waste your mental powers, brah.

Rockets will be just fine without Dragic or Rondo.

The only flaw I see is that you are assuming that Beverly's style of play will wear him down. You may be right, but that is not factual.

With regards to Ghost of Akeem, why would you worry about trading one of our point guards? Do you think they would be asking for both? You could trade away Bev for Rondo or Caanan for Dragic (along with the assets that make it possible) and still have better play from the PG position.

If you're assuming tjones won't be back this year then question is can Dorsey and black give at least 15 solid and productive minutes a night?

Pbev is more than enough as starting pg. Problem is can Johnson and terry play a combined at least 15 solid and productive min a night at sg so harden can rest?

If we do get dragic, i assume pbev will still start at pg while dragic will play some sg to give harden rest and will close at pg if he's hot.

If tjones not coming back at least Corey can play some sf so kpap can play some Pf

Yep, I'm assuming worst-case scenario. Best case scenario, he comes back after all-star break, will take a good 2 months to get into shape 1 month to get into the groove. We have not heard ANY news on him (jones)... like at all.

Beverley doesn't spend enough energy on the offensive end to wear him down.

I'm not sure Dragic playing over Bev late is best for the team, given how many possessions he seems to create with his hustle, James doesn't need that much help at the end, he essentially needs someone to pace for him during the grind, but then why would Dragic want that?

I understand. It is an assumption based on: Bev only played 56 games last year due to injury. He has only played 12/13 games this season due to injury. All of us being aware of how this guy goes 1000 miles an hour, i think it is safe to assume that if you redline a sports car for long periods of time... you gonna burn that motor like he did last season. Make sense?
