I'm not one to jump on stupid 'bone on bone' articles or melt down in the Game threads like a lot of you.

But this is something to actually be afraid of. Hope it's not true.

Or maybe Boston sends him this way.

They have space regardless. Tyson comes off the books, Brandon Wright comes off the books and I'm sure Monta will opt out. They got money to burn in the summer for sure....I'd venture a max player slot at least

You think him going to the Mavs would doom the Rockets. I'm guessing you actually think he's worth even more than Harden. If you don't believe he's nearly at Harden's caliber, stop freaking out.

I hope Dallas does trade for rondo. That'd be sweet.

    Huh?

No one said Rondo was better than Harden.

What rational people are saying is that if the Mavs give up Rondo for not much at all and none of their starters, they are a very scary team and assuredly better and more experienced and playoff tested than the Rockets.

Especially when Rondo was trying to shoot 3's or FT's, it would be downright hilarious.

Meh... You are talking about a player that has a PPS in the bottom 5% of the NBA. He isn't the same player he was 4-5 years ago.

Rondo gets traded to dallas. then signs back with the celtics after the season. Are their any nba rules against that scenario?

Last time he was in the playoffs was not 5 years ago. He dropped 42 on the one of the better defensive 11-12 teams in the Heat. Three years ago, yeah but he has been rehabbing last two seasons.. Its obvious he has been playing awful for the Cs because he knows that the Lakers don't have much to give up, so he is playing himself off the team. The worse he plays, the better the Laker package of Nash's expiring, our pick, and thier own 2019 pick looks.

Reading the revised articles, it just sounds like Boston is talking to multiple teams and it just so happens that the details of their conversations with Dallas was leaked. Doesn't make them sound like the favorite.

well yeah were not really in this, its obvious Ainge is just using us to make the Lakers get a third team involved. Ainge/Mchale/Morey = best buds that hate Lakers.
