My sources say ESPN is trying to send Marc Stein, Suzy Kolber, Doris Burke, Skip Bayless, Ric Buchers ghost to Yahoo for Woj and a 2nd rd draft pick.

I have a feeling this might turn into a blockbuster trade with these teams unless one team of bids them all.

HOLY Crap people, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills or there are a WHOLE lot of you in massive denial.

Look - if the Mavericks can address one of their biggest problems (perimeter defense) and gain a player that has the track record of Rondo for virtually PEANUTS - then that is a major major problem for the Rockets. Honestly that move would probably push them past the Rockets, and right now the Mavs are one of the few teams in the WEST I feel sure we have a good shot to beat in the playoffs.

Mavs plus Rondo for nothing = massive nightmare for Rockets fans.

    Don't get it TWISTED

don't think Morey can top this

This concept is inherently flawed. If Rondo is that good, then he must also be that good for other teams. Maybe not the Rockets, but at least one other team. And that team would give more than "nothing" for Rondo.

So either Rondo is really awesome and would make the Mavs crush the Rockets, in which case Boston will get a lot of return for him. Or he's not that good and is available for nearly nothing.

Which is it? It can't be both because Ainge doesn't have a track record of being stupid.

I trust Woj more than Stein, and Woj mentions a 1st round pick being involved in a potential Rondo/Dallas deal. A 1st rounder is not peanuts for a guy who can walk in the summer.

Now it would be great if we still had the 1st we used to dump Lin, when it wasn't necessary. I don't think Morey should give up the Pelicans 1st for a guy who can bounce.

What if the Mavs are willing to give up 3 1st round picks? No way Morey can top that offer.

Mavs picks are garbage. Just can't believe Ainge would let Rondo go for that pile of crap when he was apparently demanding Parsons not to long ago.

To me, this is all smokes and mirrors. Stein used to be a Dallas reporter and is very pro-Dallas and anti-Rockets/Morey, so I wouldn't be surprised if he is embellishing Dallas' real interest with Cuban's backing.

Outside of Wright and Parsons, Mavs have little to offer the Celtics. Wright is not a blue chip and Parsons has a terrible trade kicker.

This is just a ploy to get as much from suitors, like Houston, as possible. Media these days.

Man... this better not happen. Or if it does, we need to then acquire Dragic.
