    The lockout was good, CONVENIENT timing for Fox to use as a reason for making the ratings drop look REALLY bad.

    Does anyone know if we'll be able to get this new station on dish? I am 2 weeks from FINALLY getting rid of comcast and its abysmal service and if I can't get my rockets after this season I'm gonna be pissed.

    To answer your question, every other Comcast SportsNet channel except Northwest supports Dish and DirectTV, and since Les owns ~80% of this new network, good chance you will get it.

    Oh well, if this doesn't signal rebuilding to Leslie then I don't know what will.

    But he probably won't hear me cuz he's in Morey's kitchen fuming over the release of Jeremy Lin right now.

    On further analysis, the ratings drop from the Rockets this year is actually 80%, not 40%.

    See what I did there? African elephants aren't endangered either.

    HEY DAVID STERN GIVE THE ROCKETS A SUPERSTAR.

    No. Same crew, different channel.

    In essence FSN is suffering from something similar to what Kevin Martin is going through: being treated like an asset and knowing that the team doesn't want you long term. No wonder FSN's stats are down.

    The news of the Lakers abysmal ratings on TV this year has me wondering how the Rockets ratings have been since mostly everyone can see them play. Anyone know?

    I'd guess not much better. Houston is a bandwagon city with diehard NFL fans. The numbers will improve when the rockets make noise in the playoffs.
