    love this line

"Much of the hype surrounding the popular Air Jordans has been attributed to its namesake, Michael Jordan, one of basketball's greatest players, shoe aficionados say."

this is a symptom of a community that is so empty, hopeless, and unguided that they will spend precious money better spent on education on shoes. they probably cost the nike corporation $10 to make. yet these animals stare jealously and kill each other over them like hogs at the feed. the happiness they seek is just out of reach so they keep buying new shoes every year. a new rare collector edition every 12 months like christmas.

lets see.. pieces of leather stitched together by foreign sweatshop labor (albeit in a form factor that is well designed and carries some cultural/historical significance) or

scarce ledger units on the first decentralized accounting network protocol the world has ever seen.

So what you're saying is that it's debatable which would be the better investment, right?

People do the same thing for Apple products.

Kinda racist to call this group out.

At least it wasn't cold so they won't get ammonia.

Well, nothing has been reported from Greenspoint so it is possible they are suffering from ammonia right now.

I've learned to just pony up and pay double and get them shipped to me on eBay.

No need for this nonsense. Time is money.

Camp out at the store? Yes. Break out the store window when the actual product isn't even in the store? No.

LOLs. Yeap. I agree. Apple enthusiasts shoot each other, trash the parking lots and curb-side lawns, and break windows. I AGREE. :p
