No, smartass. Adding a guy Lance to this team would make them worse than they are now.

KG is an expiring. Not sure if he'd accept a trade, but might be worth looking at (depending on how sold you are on DMo and Dwight's knee).

Does the 150% (+$100K) rule apply to TPEs?

Lance could be a nice addition for the playoffs. He still has some growing up to do, but defense, defense, defense. That said, I would only take him If he was free. He is a risky personality to add on this team. i don't ever see him being a star for ANY team, but he could develop into a sort of Sprewell(ish) SG on the right squad. Bring him in with the second unit...

Lance makes more than the TPE, so we are going to have to give up something to get him (not likely). Furthermore I like him as a player and respect his talent but I don't think he fits with our group personality wise or skillset wise.

We need 1) a third two-way big (maybe t jones can be that guy), 2) a defensive-minded wing that can hit the 3 at 38% or better, and 3) another perimeter playmaker that can average about 4 assists per game and hit open shots when available.

Lance doesn't fit any of these needs. Pass.

Or because adding another player to the mix can also have off-the-court effects?

This isn't anything like the Asik situation. Daryl Morey gets off to trading human beings, not intangible, fantasy, fairytale cap exceptions. He cant get off to that. He needs a warm body. He wants to uproot lives. He wants to call the player when he deals them and say, "I am the one who knocks".

He cant get off like this. Batman Jones said so. :p

It'll happen by Friday. I hope whoever comes over doesn't unpack.

He doesn't, he makes more than the TE amount. 9.41 M a year.

Too bad. Kirilenko would have been a great solution at the 4, especially with TJ's injury status so iffy. AK47 and Born Ready should also be cheap pick ups due to their off court stuff. But their games would be perfect complements to what the Rockets are doing this year, tight D and running/gunning.

Kirilenko will likely be waived so I guess there's still a chance there?

    Lance, probably not. :)
