Really? He wasn't bad considering it was just his first game with no reps with first team, but "impressed" isn't a word I would use for his performance.

Some good battle fighting out there. This team wasn't going anywhere in the playoffs this year anyways. Saw some nice things from Savage and some expected rookie mistakes.

you are delusional... hou defense is 15th against the run, and 28th against the pass... no where does this scream "so close to being an elite d".

What is with all the Posey hate? Is it just because of the hold or am I forgetting about a different play?

I'm fine with Mallett and Savage. Excited for it, actually.

Draft another WR, defensive end, or inside linebacker. Whatever you do, get an impact player.

We all know Fitz is bad but Texans almost won with a Rookie.

a holding penalty that negated a game tying TD.

the colts player flopped, but posey looked really bad.

not sure why BOB gave him a meaningful role... he's
    been inactive all season long.

I didn't see the whole game, and I'm brushing asked the miscues from inexperience. His throws seemed pretty accurate, for the most part to me, and his arm, bigger than I thought. He stood in the pocket and showed poise. Rallied back from miscues to still play well. Didn't make any huge mistakes. Didn't even have Andre Johnson. Showed a lot of toughness.

What's not to be impressed by? He showed, at the very least, that he could be a very good backup, if not better. He was a project, who was in no way ready to step in. Forced to do it, though, I thought he performed pretty well. Give him a few years and I'm curious to see what we have between him and Mallett.

True. He did have a nice 30 yard catch and that Colts player flopped big time.

Ugh, such a tough loss. You could pinpoint about 5 plays that were game changers. Defense straight up balled out, the offense has just been bad this season. Foster is a beast, but I feel like our whole offense is completely based on runs and flukey passes.

I bet Savage is done for the year.

Seriously. It feels like our offense is completely handicapped by an inept QB and we just have to work around him. Is Fitzy really that bad, or is O'Brien's offense just unimaginative? Hate to say it, but I really miss the days of Schaub/Kubiak air raid.

Fitzpatrick was having his best season as a pro by far under BOB.

Posey's bone headed mistake was a game changer. Took seven points off the board. Just plain stupid. Unnecessary. I couldn't believe it. So, "Texans" to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
