    Why would DMo get traded?

Naw DMo is a beast. It makes sense he would play better next to Dwight... kind of like How Gasol played better next to Bynum.

Dmo is developing into the PF we have been missing. If Morey trades him away at this point, it could kill this teams chemistry.

D-Mo has finally started to become the player we thought he'd be. I was skeptical-but I'm glad it happened.

I think this unit (Howard, Montiejuanas, Ariza, Harden, Beverly) really complement each other well. I think as long as we shore up the backup center spot and a backup shooting guard (to relieve Harden) then we're unstoppable (barring health issues).

DMo has been amazing lately. Really playing to the level that we all hoped for when we first heard of him. A great stretch of games thus far this season has, in my view, solidified his spot in the starting line-up. Jones is a good talent, but we need to see over the next couple of games how DMo plays with Howard and if they can coexist.

All that being said, this thread is premature. DMo isn't a star and most likely never will be. That doesn't mean he can't be the 3rd best player on a championship team. I'm just simply stating that if this roster is going to win a championship this year, it will be under Harden and Howard and then there will be rest of the team, no big 3 in Houston.

%*$& the WCF. We can win it all. I don't care how early it is in the season. This team is good.

Of course, given our injury problems and the ridiculously competitive nature of the west, we could also lose in the first round, but we are definitely championship contenders.

there is shortlist of players id trade dmo for and they aret getting offered. Maybe a better back up center , bench wing scorer , or better ballhandling/scoring PG. Only upgrades this team could make.

Our bench will be really good once we get healthy... particularly when Canaan(23), Papanikolaou(24) and Jones(22) come back.

We just need a veteran guard (Ray Allen?) and veteran big (Jermaine O'neal?) that fit with these young guys off the bench.

    Canaan/ Allen/ Papa/ Jones/ O'Neal

This ^ would make one hell of a bench!

He has the highest trade value of the guys that aren't "off limits" like Howard, Harden, and Bev but I agree, very little chance we open back up a hole at PF just as we seemingly filled it.

Exactly, the only untouchables on this team are howard and harden. Dmo could potentially net us a star player. Besides, I th we'll be great with Tjones IF he comes back.

we looked so much better playing dmo strong side and dwight weak side, only feeding it to dwight when he's so deep its bucket or foul.

I get what you're saying but this comparison made my stomach turn. I hate the lakers and Kobe even more.

DMo most certainly better remain the starter when TJ gets back. He's proven to be a more complete player. TJ will be great off the bench.

He's become a legit #3 option we can go to when (A) Harden is cold or needs to rest, or (B) Dwight is in foul trouble or goes to the bench.

And he found his game serendipitously, because Howard was out for 11 games. Who could have planned that? I bet the coaches and even DMo himself did not foresee that.

Thank God. Now to get all the guys back and preserve our health.

The only problem with that is that DMo could potentially BE a star player in the making. Jones will be a really good bench option because he has basically no trade value.

am i the only one who thinks dmo should come off the bench. he is great and he can be the first option off the bench this way they can put some points on the scoreboard too. if dmo is posting up with dwight on the floor then the paint is gonna be clogged. i think he would be great off the bench. playing like 27-30 mins a game

And guys, we can pay only one of DMo or TJones. Unless TJones is willing to take a small salary increase, I think he will be the one traded.

We will also need to pay PatBev unless we trade for a more established PG like Goran.
