Dorsey's rebounding is proving to be valuable to us. He should come off the bench.

 

Man if Mchale goes away from DMo with Howard back it is going to hurt the team chemistry right away, not to mention potentially leave Dmo with Lin Syndrome... I hope the guys on the floor don't play that game.

Howard is one of the best players in the world so who do you think is going to be playing and starting? Now Dmo has shown he deserves some consideration but it is still up to him how he handles it. With Howard we know we are an consistent elite team. It is a huge lift that Howard is returning.

You misunderstood what i was saying, of course Howard starts, and of course when he is in there he will get his touches early to hopefully establish just how game ready he is, what i meant was I hope that McHale is sharp enough to know that if DH is struggling we should look to get Dmo rolling and if they are playing together which I am gathering they will be quite a bit, they need to go to DMo enough to keep him fully engaged because unlike Howard and Asik being a disaster, I truly believe Howard and DMo could do some incredible damage inside if they work together. Similar to Nene/Gortat or Splitter/Duncan.

 

Dmo will be fine.

Before Jones got hurt, Jones would get some Iso attempts with Howard, No reason DMO cant do the same.

As long as Howard gets his 10-12 shot attempts he will be Happy.

I can see that but Dmo's strong suit is the post play and he will get little of that playing with Howard. Mchale does need to stagger the minutes to exploit Dmo playing against the 2nd unit but Black and Dorsey are the back up 5's. I am excited to see what adjustments we will see when we start getting back players.

i dont mind dwight's minutes being limited, i prefer that for his first week back. 20-25mpg.

 

As someone already posted, Dwight is only listed as doubtful (and Canaan as out) because the team didn't practice Friday and thus, could not update status.
