Yeah, JVG was right when he said Lin missed a wide open Wesley Johnson in the corner and opted to pass for a crazy contested long three from Young. Kind like the scenario in the playoffs, when Lin missed a totally wide open Howard for troy Daniels.
That actually makes me feel bad about our loss to the Lakers.. But yeah, looks like SAS isn't taking opponents seriously. They only took the Lakers seriously in the last 2 minutes of the 4th when they got down by 9. And they weren't playing the Spurs basketball I have grown to see.
Just saw that play... so funny to watch Kobe not even look in Nick Young's direction after that shot, and he never congratulated him or acknowledged him either. I don't think anyone else did that. Kobe is so proud, so into his rep ... he and Swaggy P deserve each other. Anytime there's four seconds left on the shot clock and you can pass to a guarded guy 30 feet from the basket, you got to do it!
You know, I'm all for being a competitor and all that, but it must suck to have that much dickishness in you.
Hakeem shares that same boat unfortunately. Every time I talk to a basketball fan who says, "I'm a Kobe guy"... I smh. Hate to generalize, but they're all the same.

What JVG said was that Lin should have passed to Johnson right when Lin got the pass and that Lin made a mistake by dribbling attacking. Johnson was open for one beat when his defender, Bellinelli, got screened, but Benelli had recovered by the time that Lin's dribble attack was stopped by Joseph and Ginobili. At the time that Lin passed to Young, Johnson was not an option anymore.
Forgot to acknowledge: The lowly Pistons beating the Suns IN PHOENIX tonight is the kind of loss that makes organizations consider re-evaluating a bit.
It could also be that the Spurs are not very good without Kawhi. As great as their record was a year ago, if I recall, they did not play well without that dude. Anyway, terrific night for the Rockets. The Spurs, Clippers, and Blazers all lost. Sucks that Charlotte had a shot and blew it against Memphis, but to have sole possession of the 3rd best record in the West(and league) is pretty nice.
Like the Rockets losing to the Lakers? But yeah, I am hoping that the Suns see the hopelessness of their situation and hand over Dragic already.
Yeah, they're in big trouble right now. That 8th spot will likely be claimed by OKC pretty soon and I don't see them falling out of the playoff picture barring further injuries. That leaves Phoenix on the outside looking in with the Pelicans, Kings, and Nuggets.
This is the interview, if you'd call it that http://www.nba.com/spurs/video/2014/12/13/141212shootaroundpopmp4-3463007 Not to mention how evil Morey has gotten to Manu about coin flips http://www.nba.com/spurs/video/2014/12/13/141212postgameginobilimp4-3463020 fast forward to 1:32 lol
The Suns have OKC next which could put them under .500 but it'd be for less than 24 hours as they have 3 following games they are likely to win.
