Pretty much. One of the most anti-clutch players in the league when it comes to big names. Part of the reason why his numbers are fools gold.
Big men hardly get the ball in the clutch though - especially when they have someone like Kemba on their team. What other moments has he been anti-clutch?
Hornets had that game, but still a good night for the Rockets. Blazers and Clippers lose. Spurs in a dog fight with LA, down 9 in the 3rd.
He had the ball, numerous times. The last shot he missed was a open shot at the FT line. Kemba is no chucker, if anything Kemba should have shot more considering the game he was having and his history hitting big shots under pressure. Well, Jefferson hasn't been in many big games. But close games they are in and they give him the ball he just does not make good decisions. He at times is a black hole in post where they pass it to him and he does not pass it out no matter what (like this game, first Hornets possession he gets it. Surrounded by 3 grizzlies, forces up a weak shot) and otherwise he just generally misses shots when they need him to make it. To me, and I've said it before. Big Al is the big man version of Kevin Martin. Puts up solid numbers but when the games get tight he's not a guy you like having on the floor. I was just talking about his offense too, his defense has never been good enough.
The Grizzlies announcer that called the Hornets "somewhat disorganized" was being very kind. They are clueless.
I thought you guys were going to reference other games, and not just this one. Yeah, Al stunk it up in 2OT.
Kobe and Manu. Those two had classic match ups. Might be one of the last times we see that haha. Lin has been pretty good tonight.
Well Al has been a first or 2nd option on every team he's been on and every team he's been on is not very good. He's hit some clutch last second shots but I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about 3 mins to go in the game kind of shots to build a lead or keep your team in it kind of shots.
Damn Lakers are giving Spurs all they can handle. Lakers need to win, I'll feel a lot better about our lost to them haha
