So Cyberx has mentioned the following: Brandon Bass Amir Johnson Enes Kanter Wilson Chandler One guy I would love to have is Amir Johnson. His offensive game is exactly like TJones, but he would give us more defensively. The problem is I think a player for player trade makes more sense for Toronto, whereas we would want to use the TPE.
If Uriji is planning on letting Amir walk after the season, then Terrence for Amir straight up makes a lot of sense for what we want to do right now and for Toronto. Don't know if he can get more value for Amir's expiring contract than Terrence.
Johnson is a better defender and more importantly, a much larger contract that could be combined with Terry at the trade deadline. Toronto might be getting a little bit more than us since Terrence still has a few years on his contract and will be restricted, but Johnson is a better fit for the rockets plans right now.
Taj Gibson wants to start, and BS Report picked him as our #1 trade target. What would we give up to get him? Or maybe a 3-team trade involving a wing player.
I don't see Chicago trading him. They have a legit chance to come out of the East this year and play for a Championship. But if they did, hasn't he developed a decent 10 - 15 foot jumper? If he has wouldn't he be the perfect front court teammate for DMo if D12 misses a significant amount of time this season? A PF defensive stud who can guard any 4 in the league, block shots and hit the little mid range jumper would be deadly on the Rockets.
Is the Thad Young agreement for Jason Terry + Francisco Garcia? [or Canaan/Daniels instead of Garcia] ... either way, it would open up a spot for Ray Allen.
