I like Matthews at the flex. Had a good game against Dallas (with a TD) last time, and this matchup is at home.
Stafford or Sanchez this weekend? Sanchez torched the Boys on Thanksgiving and Stafford goes up against an underrated Vikings D. Leaning on Sanchez. I can't afford another 10 point performance from Stafford in the playoffs.
I think Stafford will do better than 10, plus he's at home. But you're right Minnesota's Achilles heel, has been their run defense, not the pass defense. Besides Jay Cutler, Minnesota hasn't given up a 300yd passer on the season. Also in 2 games Aaron Rodgers only got a combined 350 yards. In Minnesota earlier this season, Matt Stafford only threw for 1 TD, so I'd be careful. I say all this to say, I'd go with Sanchez just to be safe. Matt Stafford isn't the matchup proof stud that alot of other QB's are.
Did Sanchez actually torch Dallas...??? I don't know if you can count on him having rushing TD's. Stafford didn't have Megatron when they played Minnesota in Minnesota (I can't remember if his TE's were injured too at the time) and except for two games Stafford has been good at home. I would go with Stafford.
This may seem like a no-brainer but I still don't trust Cutler in the playoffs. Cutler vs. NO Sanchez vs. DAL Manziel vs. CIN My gut is telling me Sanchez. Maybe I'm overthinking it.
I was just about to ask if I should play Kerwynn Williams or Frank Gore lol. I am skeptical but Frank Gore has been **** lately. Then again St. Louis D has been great the past 2 games.
Count me on the Manziel bandwagon. I'm in a 2 QB league where I'm using him and the Sanchize. There is a lot of risk involved, but is he really any more risky than the other guys out there? Unless you've had Luck or Rodgers, the QB position has been a real crapshoot this year. Manning was in that elite group but even he threw up a stinker last week.
Hell, I'm in a 2 QB league too. Have Ryan, Big Ben and Rivers. I guess Manziel has high upside, but I wouldn't want to rely on him in the playoffs.
i'm in the semis and i'll be playing manziel. started brady for the first 4 or 5 weeks and got terrible results. made a dumb emotional decision and dropped him, but i picked up palmer who was playing well. then palmer gets hurt, so now i'm juggling qbs like dalton and tannehill. but for now i've got alex smith and manziel
