hardly, if that was the case, the Hornets would thrive with him off the court.....they're not

they sit him in the fourth quarter and he is the only guy who makes plays for his team mates

Ramon Sessions and Josh McRoberts are big losses as well, both were key players last season

Al Jefferson isn't attacking the boards, Henderson also is only getting 6 shots a game

it is just easy to blame him, it seems fans only want to blame a recent signing as a failure but like i said, i put it down to them dropping off defensively

they were a great defensive team last season

its easy because its true, but yes their defense is bad. not sure if its just you're a LS fan but he definitely is affecting their team in a negative way.

Presuming he gets his crazy a bit under control, I can see Stephenson becoming a valuable reclamation project for a contender on the cheap next year.

I fear him ending up in Dallas or San Antonio also Cleveland if he can not freak out LeBron.

That $9M salary would be difficult for most contenders to swallow with a cap of $66M. Plus the Spurs are sporting Manu and Kwahli.

I thought he was a great player in Indiana, but I guess I didn't watch him enough. What bothers me the most about him is the same problem I had with Vernon Maxwell: dribbling with a little skip in your step, turning your hand and spinning it when not needed, hopping around and borderline travel a lot thus out of control. I just laugh every time he dribbles, it looks awkward and he makes it so much harder than it has to be.

The savvy GM's knew he wasn't that good. That coupled with minor locker room issues are why he struggled to find a contract. I don't think anyone is surprised by his performance. He's still a nice player to have.

You do realize Ariza developed a 3pt shot?

Not saying Lance can't do it but as of now he's a very streaky off the dribble shooter. Can't catch and shoot. That whould be a horrible fit here in Houston. I can just imagine all the open threes he would miss:eek:

Stephenson is a crazy man's Tony Allen with better handles. That's it.

He'd be a horrible fit in any system which requires him to be a spot up shooter (spurs, rockets, etc.)

Lance is stealing BigAL's defensive rebounds just like he stole them from Hibbert in Indiana.

Jefferson's ORB per 36 is about the same as last season, but his DRB is down 3 per 36. Team DRB% is ranked #3 instead of #1 the previous season, but OPP FG% is #24 instead of #6.

I doubt that. Why would they want to mess with their great chemistry?
