You need to reread what I wrote. If you are in tune with this thread, you know who I am talking about. I'll give you a hint, it's 2 people, one is a racist, and the other is a know-it-all. I do not see anything irrational about my feelings towards Teddy Bridgewater. Chickens come home to roost, and I will be laughing the entire time. Don't take this franchise seriously. They are not worthy.

That's still yet to be seen, sure Clowney has to come back from a rough injury, but it doesn't take much to be better than a scrub QB.

the sad part is, we didnt have to draft teddy b at 1.1, we have could gotten him for nothing, because the media and scouts was talking about his small hands, and how he couldnt play in cold or be durable, all things that have nothing to do with playing football, and not only that he has proven all those things to be false... teddy has gone 4-2 in his last 6 games and increased his passer rating and qbr in each of those games with a bunch of backups on the o-line and is now one of the fewest sacked qbs in the league because he is getting the ball out faster than even aaron rodgers( i kid you not).. i mean who the heck in charles johnson and jarius wright, and matt asisata lol...

zimmer just called bridgewater the franchise in only his 6th start, most coaches dont say that unless they are sure the kid is the real deal... bortles, tannahill, and any of the other young qbs sans andrew luck dont get that much praise...

the only thing that can save the texans at this point is to hope winston falls like teddy b, and take him... winston is an all-pro talent who is 6'5 with a strong arm, and can make all the throws with anticipation

You already know uncle Bob will not draft Winston. Winston will be a great player but I would be shocked if the Texans picked him.

It would be asking a lot for Bob McNair to draft a crab stealing, point shaving, rapist, but I'm sure there will be fans asking him to.

absolutely not... you know the Texans have a policy against drafting potential franchise qb's. ;)

There are no scrub QBs in this thread. You must have thought you were in the Fitzpatrick thread.

Sure is funny how you hate Teddy B but continue to post in this thread. Can you prove that Winston was point shaving or raped that girl? If its on the Internet then it must be true.

Haha that's right. 13 years of average qbs seems to be very Texan like. Winston will be long gone on draft day. Titans, and bucs would jump at the opportunity to take him.

Winston will go 1.1 if jets or titans pick 1st.

You think he goes ahead of mariota? Both should grade out well after workouts.

absolutely. mariota is vastly overrated. will definitely need a year or two on the bench.

Please explain. We didn't pass on him, the Vikings took him ahead of us.

Why does everyone assume it's so easy to just trade up?

You guys are comical, the QB play has been so great we had to bench one out of desperation to find some competent play.

The stats aren't that good, trust me. Besides, it's all about the eye test and TB has been terrific in his development, not so much for a 10 year veteran that O'Brien had been protecting with his play calling all year.

Fitz has looked better in his 2 starts since coming back from his demotion of putrid play but TB is the best player the last couple months and moving forward, anyone disagrees clearly don't understand football.

    :eek:What?

Maybe you don't understand what picking 1.1 means? Or maybe some odd reason you did not know we had the number 1 pick in the entire draft.

That means that we had the first OVERALL in the draft over any other team and we passed on Teddy to pick the Clowney. Which equates to the Texans front office passing on TB.
Hope that makes sense to you.

    I get that, stupid.

If you read the post I quoted....it says we didn't have to draft him at 1.1 and could've gotten him for nothing....which is what I want him to explain.
