What? I would take a TipJar bet on that.

In of itself, now that he has market recognition, he's eligible for Title 99 under the Affirmative Action for Mediocre White Players Who Don't Belong There Act.

Heck, veterans like old ass Derrick Fisher did not belong in the league for the last two years.

Furthermore, you're still thinking of that contract and the expectations of him producing to meet the money. Realistically speaking, he's a mediocre player who can light it up 1 out of 6 nights, which is a drastic improvement over the original Jeremy Lin who fought among NBDL players for a 30 day contract.

It's still a disappointment that he couldn't live up to the expectations and hype, but out of the league for a guy in his mid 20s? I like my odds.

You did not factor jeremy might bolt to play in china. They would offer him a significant amount of money .

my opinion is that jeremy is more concerned about his brand. If economics factors in also, he would choose china.

Just goes to show his little credibility you have calling everyone a racist while posting something like that. Zero credibility, none.

Quite. I'll believe that when I see it because he had plenty of endorsement opportunities during Linsanity, which he turned down mostly. Him bolting would turn a different light on his butthurt slights over the years.

I have in mind his mentality is to become a voice that shepherds and guides people through example. His "planned success" (who knows if that'll be for real?) is part of a more rewarding destiny to behold. The Tebow savior mentality.

He'll struggle and struggle in the NBA because that carries the most limelight. If he played in China, no one will give two squirts about his preachy evangelism.

You're not exactly known as a champion of equal rights either, Mr I-want-less-Asians-and-Whites-in-in-colleges.

And you're second on the no cred list. The only reason you even post in this thread is because Lin is Asian. Pfft.

Strong words, but I wasn't the one throwing a fit in the Cali AA thread in favor of one race over the other.

Oh ops, I see you actually edited your post. Didnt know you cared so much.

I have to disagree on this.

Getting 1-2 mil playing in us is better than getting 3 mils in China. And no, you are not going to get 4-5 mil playing in china.

And not everyone view him the same as Yao, to many people in China, they view him as American. The marketing value is no where equal to Yao, not even close.

He will find a backup job in us to play couple years more.

Why would anyone wear shoes with someone's face on them?

No I was favoring the data and I repeatedly asked you to present data which you preferred not to do, instead choosing to go with calling me a racist. I support social justice for minorities because I believe in it and you favor Asians because you're Asian. Get it straight.

You're here trashing people on a regular basis because Jeremy Lin is Asian and you seem to believe anyone critical of him or anyone interested in seeing his fans get a much needed dose of reality is racist You are the race huckster here. Congratulations.

If I were Lin, I'd play in Australia to get the Asian market while having a buffer against the horde. It may be marginally less competitive than the CBL, but it makes no sense to lose quality of life over a few dollars

What the hell? I just looked for a denzel pic that said keeping it real. I didnt even notice the 'n*gga'. Damn you're sensitive. Thought they were only words anyways, cometswin? You the type doesn't think twice at asian accent jokes, other asian stereotypes, or other harmless "just words" form of racism. Its not even a white or asian guy in the pic saying it. Its f***ing denzel washington. And somehow its racist lolll.

    1) CometsWin supports AA at the expense of qhites and asians
    2) routinely says racism against asians is just jokes and words, in other words not really racist
    2) he called yao ming and his fans the very same things he calls jeremy lin and his fans. Yao ming lovers and yao overrated. Funny he said that about a player who was the best Center in the league at the time.

You have repeatedly dismissed claims and articles supporting anything opposing your one track mind. Feel free to show me where I have unironically supported forced policies and measures favoring one race over the other like you have. You were the one screaming your lungs out for AA while I simply said let the best scores win.

I'm honestly amazed you have the gall to claim you support all minorities. I'm even more amazed that you honestly think the usual suspects here who post more than anyone are guiltless saints.
