What do y'all think of Hardaway? If he and Melo are fighting, I would like to get him possibly. I like his game, though I do wish he would do more on the floor except look to score. But, he can be that bench guy that can light it up a la Jamal Crawford. He is not there yet, but he has shown flashes.
From day 1 Melo was not the answer. He's not the alpha dog that leads you to a title. Maybe a Russell Westbrook to someone else's Kevin Durant. Everything he's done has been about $$ number one. Not to say winning doesn't matter but he won't sacrifice, on or off the floor. When he was with Denver, he coul've come to the Knicks as FA, but he wanted the max, forced the sign and trade when DOnnie Walsh really didnt want to do it and gutted the knicks in the process. Once again this off-season, he took the money and I have no doubt, he will bolt or demand to leave if things dont improve a year from now.
How about Tim Hardaway Jr for the NO first round pick and a filler? 3 and D guard with playmaking ability. Get er done mowwrey
If he doesn't have this Mike James attitude, but has the skill set, I'd be okay with it <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/3IR9vpfVwuI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I for one don't feel bad for Melo or the Knicks one bit. I actually take pleasure in seeing them suck. Karma is a beautiful thing. I'd have so much more respect for Carmelo had he just said he wanted to stay in NY and wanted the money to support his family or whatever. Hell I'd even respect him had he said he had to stay because his wife wanted to. But nope, he said winning was his #1 priority during his free agency. Then spurns the Rockets and Bulls to resign with the Knicks. Who have no players around him, a first year coach, and an offense only the Bulls and Lakers are able to run apparently. Winning.....
Melo shouldn't threaten Tim. Tim's dad, Penny Hardaway, knows people who can mess up Melo's soft ass.
if you were detroit way back when in 2003 with the #2 pick, would you take darko or anthony? Anthony seems like a total cancer, doesnt seem too far fetched that Detroit decided to keep with Tayshaun instead of getting carmello. Makes you wonder.
Melo should demand a trade to add to his legacy... I really don't know what he expected when he re-signed.
