The Spurs were like 20-30% winning percentage last season against the West top 8 also.

Look I am not saying the Mavs will be the Spurs, nor I will suggest they can be the top 4 seeds.

What I am saying is, when you have an elite offense, you are still very dangerous in any playoff series.

I am pretty sure I have watched more Mavs games than you this season.

you are dangerous in a punchers chance way, you're not dangerous as in a win the title way

It doesn't matter if what you conclude is that Dirk has worse shot selection than Kobe. That's simply impossible to be true.

Maybe try watching Laker games and compare.

Mavs will make the playoffs but aren't a contender. Not with that defense

    True.

But looking at the west this year, at least at this point, as good as GSW's record, I don't think anyone will say any team is the clear favor to win it all.

So...the Mavs never beat the good teams but blow out the bad teams?

And Dallas isn't a championship contender. They simply don't have the ingredients to be one.

    Superstar? Nope.
    Defense? Nope.
    Rebounding? Nope.

Dude, just simply stating he has shot very poorly those games. That is mixed in with one game of rest.

I'm not drawing any conclusions about him. Just saying he shot poorly, and I'm enjoying it.

9 of their last 10 games have been vs teams with sub .500 records. GSW don't scare me

I'll never understand why the spurs play like world beaters against the grizzlies.

Wow. Could Utah pull off the upset? Even without Parker, I didn't think the Spurs would be sweating this one.

you need length and athleticism to disrupt, which is why okc and houston (pterodactyl teams) bother them, also having players with elite 1 on 1 skills to shift the needle away from being decided entirely by team vs team.

I chalk it up to the Rockets being thrown for a loop when Dwight was scratched from the lineup at the last minute. Once they adjusted to playing without him, they've been fine.

Well, look at it the other way. We could easily have lost that Mavs game, Dwight or no Dwight.
