Your kidding about trading Howard and replacing him with DMO right?

I'd love to get KG even if for just 15 minutes off the bench. His leadership and locker room presence alone would be worth it.

If the Lakers don't have to give up a pick, this is a steal.

Likely doesn't legitimize either team, though

Garnett would be absolutely awesome for this team, his mental toughness is off the charts. Many people in here thought Jason Terry would never play for the rockets and was brought in as just a tradeable asset. Now look.

That'd be cool. Wouldn't make them playoff contenders but would improve significantly.

Still think D-Will should run the show in SacTown.

If Morey did that he would be drummed out of the NBA. But I don't put anything past him. He might have decided the no other star will come to Houston because of Howards play full attitude.

But I would be in total shock if he did that.

Since you are not a Houston Rockets fan, you don't realize how disastrous this would be for our team. Ariza by himself, is more valuable to us than D-Will.

Sure, it is possible but if Morey makes such a decision he will lose the respect of the fans.

I do appreciate a lot of your insider information. Thanks for keeping us in the loop.

Didn't you say they are targeting Rondo? This would then prevent them from going after Rondo. Are they just targeting all PGs at this juncture? I don't even understand the point of obtaining DWill...yes it's an upgrade but it just gives you 2 years of mediocrity. Obtain a top pick, if lucky #1, grab a big, sign Rondo, and you have a quality-ish team beginning to form, especially once Kobe comes off the books.

D-Will's salary is one third of the 2015 cap. Just think about that for a moment. One third of your money tied up in D-Will. Shuddering yet?

not only that. He would lose the trust of James and Dwight. They are close friends with Trevor.

I sure hope that management will look for a much better player than D-Will, if they do that.

We should retain the TPE mystery man if he can contribute to the team. We need depth.

Not saying it would happen. Just saying that people said its its impossible, that is all!

Trade exception for a player would work.

Both Lakers and Rox would love to change their PG situation.

If we can get him without trading Trevor/DMO/Harden/Dwight/Bev i would be ok with it. It would suck for Terry to get traded after you feel like you've found a good situation.

Yes, that is very true. Ariza is our unsung hero, and makes things much easier for James in particular.

I already called it in dish, I know lakers probably want D.will bad this year and next with kobe. but I didn't think nets needed to salary dump him so I said.

    lakers in : d.will

    nets in : Clarkson + lin + filler + rockets 2015

yes at the season ticket party sunday at TC, howard basically had a ball ranking on EVERY player when introducing them "harden wasn't there" but when it was time for him to introduce ARIZA...

he got like super serious said something like.... this man has really helped up with leadership, defense, and hitting 3s

In that vein, ANYTHING is possible. No Chance's (very apt username BTW) ridiculous proposal of trading Dwight for Deron is POSSIBLE. However, why would the Rockets ever give up so much for a player getting paid over double what he's worth right now? And on top of that, kill any chemistry the team has developed? I understand that you're just saying that it's POSSIBLE, but come on. There's a line that can be drawn.
